And goofing off...

A Light Rail Day

Two Saturdays ago, we drove down to Denver and rode the light rail.

It was our first time riding the light rail.

We've ridden light rail trains in Portland, then Salt Lake City.

Now, in Denver.

We rode the H line into downtown Denver, then the H line back to 10th and Osage, and then the C line up past the Elitches/Pepsi Center Stop and then the E line back down to the stop we first came onto the light rail: Southmoor.

It was fun.  Got to ride the different light rail trains.

Now I get to make my own at home.

School Starts

It is that time again.  Back to school.

Last Wednesday, both Noah (7) and Rhys (5) headed back to their school at Community Montessori, Boulder.  Both with new backpacks, new lunch bags, new notebooks and folders and classes to take.

Rhys is a Kindergartner now and gets to stay in school full day.  Noah is in second grade.

And then there's the school bus, which they both get to take home.  It stops right at a corner, a block and a half from our house.  And for them, that's totally cool.

With a school start comes a new blog start.  So tune in.

There will be a lot more coming your way from these three boys.

We're Back! On A Saturday Afternoon...

Yes, it's been about four months since their last post was published (unbelievable!) and I am happy to say that we're going to start this blog train rolling again.

The boys are growing at increasing speeds and there is so much to share.  Things are happening, you know?

The Parents have acquired a new computer that will make this task of maintaining their much easier.

So we begin again...

...with yesterday.  It was a bright, sunny afternoon, and three sick boys were outside in the backyard playing...

We're hoping the sickness goes and the sunshine stays.

Stay tuned for more on these fabulous brothers...
(I'm a little biased.  Can you blame me?
I am their Mom, after all.)

It's Beginning To Look Alot Like Christmas...

On Friday, while Mommy was sick in bed, Daddy brought up the Christmas decorations.

"We had to clean up first!" - Rhys

So we cleaned up all of the family room and put up decorations:

The Advent Calendar!

And Stockings!

Mommy's Jingling Snowman and Dog

The Nutcrackers

Now onto the rest of the house!

Noah Thursdays: Soccer, Soccer, Soccer!

Specifically on Thursdays, there will be special posts about Noah highlighting him as a person, his activities and his milestones.  Noah was born on a Thursday so it's only fitting that his featured posts fall on a Thursday.  Enjoy!

Soccer.  It's what I do now.  I have practices every Tuesday at the park right next to my house.  My soccer games are every Friday at the fields.  I have alot of fun at soccer, except when we're playing and we're all so close to each other, trying to kick the ball.   We need to learn to pass so we're not so close to each other. But I like playing soccer.  Especially defense.

Owen Wednesdays

Specifically on Wednesdays, there will be special posts featuring Owen highlighting him as a person, his activities and his milestones.  Owen was born on a Wednesday so it's only fitting that his featured posts fall on a Wednesday.  Enjoy!

I am 18 months old and I am walking.

And talking.

I say things like "Cracker!" and "Deats! (Eats)" and  "Poopy!"

I give The Mommy lots of hugs and snuggle and kiss The Daddy.

I love my brothers.

I really love my brothers.

In the morning, when Daddy carries me straight from my crib to the car and puts me in my carseat between them, that's the best because I see my brothers first thing and play with them all the way to their "school".

That's all for now.
